MOSH/MOAH analyzer puts manufacturers of food and food packagings on the safe side. This analyzer has been designed specifically for sensitive and fast detection of paraffinic hydrocarbons (MOSH) and polyaromatic paraffinic hydrocarbons (MOAH) based on the European Norm DIN EN 16995:2017.
Fatty components in cosmetics, food and transport packaging materials and printing colors for packagings – mineral oil components such as MOSH/MOAH can be identified almost everywhere in the environment. They can infiltrate food of both plant and livestock origin in different ways, e.g. through migration. Both compounds, MOSH and MOAH, are easily absorbed from food and can accumulate in body fat and organs.

DetailsWe offer for sale a Varian 450-GC Gas Chromatograph. This GC was set up for standalone operation comprising of a Packed/Wide Bore On-Column Inlet, TCD Detector, FID Detector both with EFC, and a Vici Single Horizontal Valve with small valve Oven. It is setup to run samples through the TCD and then through the FID. We tested the unit using 2 GC standards and diverting the column to the respective detector. Everything tested accordingly.
